Strong earthquake in Tibet, 36 deaths

At least 36 people were killed in a strong earthquake in the Himalayan foothills of Tibet on Tuesday morning. The earthquake, measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale, struck at 905 am original time. The intensity of the earthquake caused numerous structures to collapse, turning thoroughfares and places into debris. 

 According to the China Earthquake Administration, the center of the earthquake was in Dingri County, just 10 kilometers below the face, so its impact was veritably strong. As a result, the most damage was caused in Dingri and the girding areas. The original administration said that numerous people are still believed to be trapped in the collapsed debris. 

 numerous people were reported injured in the earthquake. Locals said that the condition of numerous of the injured was critical.
